Hypertronics Corp., part of Smiths Interconnect, a division of the Smiths Group of companies, has developed the HTT line of high-temperature contacts that provide continouous electrical operation at temperatures to +400°C. Designed for harsh environments from -65 to +400°C, the contacts are suitable for applications involving extreme thermal environments, such as rocket, jet and turbine engines, industrial machinery, oil and gas exploration and power generation. They are high-temperature versions of the company's popular Hypertac® line of contacts which feature a 360-deg. wiping action for reliable electrical contact with high immunity to shock and vibration and an operating lifetime of more than 100,000 mating cycles.
